Why should I choose Your Friend as my guide?
Your Friend is your personal guide that will talk to you whenever and wherever you want him to. Your guide is perfectly adapted to your own rhythm: Just push the button and listen to all the interesting stories about the sights in front of you. Your Friend is telling you exactly what you are watching at and the very moment you are standing in front of it. It is more likely comfortable instead of following a group or carrying around a heavy guide-book, isn't it?

Where do I get my Wien Map?
You can download it for free. Our map of central Vienna includes also a subway map (u-bahn) and fotos of all our 48 sights in the 1st district. So you also get the basic infos of how to get  there by public transport.

How long would it take me to see all the places mentioned on your map?
It depends on how used you are to walking. One can make almost the whole program within a day. If you are very short of time, you can reach a lot of sights in our map of wien in tram Nr.1 (it is going round the Ring Road). Start at Stephansplatz (Underground lines U1, U3, U4) or use Metro Nr 2.

What am I told by Your Friend?
Your Friend tells you about the sight you are standing in front of. You will be informed about architecture, history, details you may not have noticed. There are short stories, there is sound of music as well as authentic historical material.

What makes the difference to a traditional sight seeing tour?
Your Friend frees you from following a group. Just make your choice of the route according to your personal style. Have a break whenever you want to, and be assured, that you will never miss any information!

Do I have to follow the route given by the map?
Of course not: just figure out your personal route and try it out. you can´t get lost, all of our sights are in the 1st district, one of Europe ´s cultural world heritage aereas.

I have got my own guide-book, I guess that will do it almost, won't it?
A book is a good tool to get prepared for a journey, but I would not recommend to use it during a city walk. Just mention the loss of time by searching the right information, standing in the street… Wouldn't it be much more comfortable to listen to the informations told by the MP3 player?

How many languages does Your Friend speak?
English, French, Italian, Spanish and German.

We are especially interested in the cafes. Do we get some informations about that subject?
Fortunately, Your Friend will be guiding you through the world of the most famous cafes of Vienna.
